1. Design Workshop

Design Workshop is an addition to a Building class. Learn how we create house patterns from photographs or drawings and how they end up as cookie cutters!

Start with pre drawn cardboard pattern pieces drawn from basic elements of typical architectural styles such as Colonial, Victorian or Georgian.

Place and cut out pre drawn doors and windows anywhere you like to create your very own 'one of a kind' house.

Pattern pieces are then laid out and cut onto dough, or we can digitize your special design and have it 3d printed into cookie cutters!
2. Build Workshop

Workshop typically runs 2 hours.

Every builder gets their own kit of gingerbread house pieces. House style and pattern is chosen in advance, and custom styles are available.

Assembly demonstrations and frosting techniques are done in three stages: detailing of windows/doors, foundation walls/base assembly, and roof assembly.

Beautiful candy buffets are laid out for each builder to collect their own selection of edible candy shapes and colors.

Samples of creative ways to decorate with candy are given.

Finished houses are wrapped up and tied with a beautiful wire ribbon for easy take home.

3. Decorate Workshop

Similar to the Building workshop but you get right down to the fun stuff-without the tedious assembly part :)

Everyone gets their own individual pre assembled house to decorate any way they like. House style and pattern is chosen in advance, and custom styles are available.

Beautiful candy buffets are laid out for each builder to collect their own selection of edible candy shapes and colors.

Assembly and frosting application techniques are demonstrated. Royal icing filled frosting bags are included.

Samples of creative ways to decorate with candy are given.

Finished houses are wrapped up and tied with a beautiful wire ribbon for easy take home.
